Hansi Hinterseer is an Austrian singer, actor and alpine skier. He won six World Cup races in slalom and giant slalom, and one overall giant slalom contest at the 1973 Alpine Skiing World Cup. He also won the silver medal at the world championship in 1974, and participated in the 1976 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck. He released four Number 1 albums in Austria and two Number 1 albums in Denmark, and one Number 1 album, “Heut’ ist Dein Tag!,” in Germany. He starred in 8 television movies of the series “Da wo die Berge sind” (Where the mountains are) as well as in the TV-movie “Ruf der Pferde” (Calling of the horses). He received a medal of honor for services to the Republic of Austria, the medal of merits of Tirol and the medal of honor of Tirol.
